Chocolate Chip Cookies

And she's back! Wow, it's been more then a month since my last post, and for that I apologize. My laptop broke and we had to order a new part which took a few weeks, so I was without photoshop, which meant no editing pictures, which then meant no blog posts. But here we are, with some cookies.

While I cannot remember the changes that I made to this recipe, the original is here. I do remember them being pretty good, but too cinnamon-y.

I will be posting every day for a few days until I've finished posting all the recipes I'd made while on blogger hiatus.

Vegan Snickerdoodles

I made these the same day as the peanut butter cookies, hence the same looking photos.

Vegan Peanut Butter Cookies

SNOW DAYY!!
Can you tell I'm excited? No, it's not that exciting actually. It's freezing cold, and quite boring to be honest. Buuuut I did bake some more things! We're running out of ingredients, and no one seems to be buying them, so I've been left with remnants.

Vegan Pumpkin Oatmeal Cookies

First time baking in the new year, and I'm making cookies (and bread, but that recipe will come in a few days)! Going 100% Vegan this year, or trying at least. Last year I went back and forth between vegetarian and vegan. I'm curious how these cookies will turn out, because I used a lot less sugar then it called for.

Mum's Whipped Shortbread

I've been trying out different shortbreads, trying to find one that absolutely just melts in your mouth. I still haven't found one quite right, but so far this recipe wins. It's an old one of my mother's that she has had for some time now, you can tell by the crinkles and smudges of the aged paper.

Lemon Sugar Cookies

I've made these a few times last year, they are my mums favourite cookie of all time. She asked me if I could make them again today, and I wanted to try a healthy vegan version. So I used whole wheat flour, half the amount of sugar it called for, and I used agave instead of white sugar, and a few other tweaks.

Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies

Hello fellow bloggers, sorry it's been a while, I've been on a baking hiatus. I haven't hooped in a month either. I haven't been feeling well to be honest, but today I made cookies! They're pretty good, I put butter in them though, so they aren't fully vegan.

Below are a few of the steps to making them, in photographs. I can't remember the recipe I used, so only photos this time!

Red Velvet Chocolate Chip Cookies

I can't remember if I blogged about my past failure at making red velvet cookies. I was trying to make whoopie pies, but I didn't have enough red food colouring, so I tried adding yellow, then gave up. They ended up being thin chocolate looking cookies. They were yummy, but not what I was trying to make.

Of course they don't sell red velvet cake mix in Canada, so I've had to make do with what I could find.

I put a bit too much cocoa powder in these, because I didn't measure properly, I just sort of poured it in. Don't worry, I've learned my lesson!

Lemon Sugar Cookies

Surprise surprise, another cookie recipe! I was going to make some oatmeal peanut butter cookies with my mum, but she was watching her show *rolls eyes*. I was sipping my lemon green tea, and I remember a lemon cookie recipe I saw a few days ago, and here we are!

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Well, here is my first ever blog post, and guess what it's about! Drum roll please?
......COOKIES! I bet your surprised aren't you? No? Okay then.

These were originally supposed to be thin and crispy cookies, almost wafer-like, but they didn't turn out that way. It may of been because I didn't use a mixer, I just did it by hand. Who knows.
